Dede Osborn, MA BCC
Dede is a leadership specialist, consultant and executive coach working in organizations struggling with change and multi-cultural complexity and the principal of Salamana Associates LLC.
During the 15 years she lived in Mexico, she co-founded Tecnología Administratíva Moderna (TEAM, SC), a training and consulting organization which provides leadership training and assessment for development, in Spanish, for Latin American executives. This experience provided the database for numerous research articles on Latin American leadership styles.
She has served as adjunct senior faculty and coach for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) for the last 25 years. Dede was the Program Director for CCL’s Leadership Development Program in San Antonio, TX for ten years and the Project Manager for adapting the International Leadership at the Peak program for European Senior executives.
More recently she was a core faculty member and coach for the Hawai’i Leadership Center, the senior consultant to the Pauahi Leadership Institute in Honolulu, HI, and she is also presently on the leadership faculty of the School of Public Policy, University of Maryland.
Dede has a Master’s degree in Psychology and Professional Certification in Organization Development from Georgetown University is a Board Certified Executive Coach and an accredited Coaching Supervisor with the Coaching Supervision Academy – London.
Dede has devoted her professional life to creating happier and more productive workplaces by bringing challenge, pragmatism, and humor to her consulting and coaching work.
On the personal side, closest to her heart is spending time with her 3 grandchildren, traveling with her husband and practicing the creative arts. She resides in Rhode Island.
